If you're unsure of which photo editing app is right for you, there are several free options out there that can help you out. For example, the Apple Photos app comes preloaded on all Apple computers. It's easy to use, but its features are fairly basic. You can add filters, crop your photos, remove blemishes, and whiten teeth. Unfortunately, it's not as powerful as its more expensive cousins, such as Adobe Photoshop.
The free version of Photos is good for portraits, landscapes, and architecture photographers, but you may want to upgrade to an advanced photo editing app. To begin using Photos, you need to import your photos, expand them, and then click Edit in the top right corner. Use the Enhance wand to make quick color corrections. Other features include a collection of premade looks and textures. But it's best known for its portrait editing tools.
